Phase 4: Innovate
Future Growth & Development Planning
Earlier this spring, the City of Noble invited residents to review and provide input on three alternative growth scenarios—each offering a different vision for how the community could grow and evolve over time. Through Community Workshop #3: Shaping Noble’s Future and an online Workshop Activity, we gathered 50 responses to better understand community priorities for future development, rural preservation, neighborhood design, and infrastructure.
📌 Key themes included:
- Walkable neighborhoods with access to parks, schools, and small businesses
- Clear boundaries between town and countryside to preserve Noble’s rural identity
- Preference for compact, infrastructure-efficient growth over scattered sprawl
- Vibrant, people-friendly activity centers and well-buffered commercial and industrial areas
This input directly informed the development of a Draft Preferred Growth & Development Scenario, which is now being reviewed by City staff and the Steering Committee. Once that review is complete, a Final Future Land Use Map (FLUM) Growth Scenario will be shared with the public.
