From "General Comments"

Just a quick comment on design moving forward.

I would like to limit the amount of parking spaces and avoid Noble becoming a big parking lot that makes it difficult to walk anywhere.

I would like to see overnight on street parking in neighborhoods made illegal so emergency vehicles can navigate them faster.

In my neighborhood, our houses have one-car driveways. If you park a car in a driveway that blocks the sidewalk, the city will give you a ticket. Unfortunately, we do not have a choice. Parking one car in the driveway and one on the street.

@Alex Yeverino , @Joe Easley , and @user199656, All good points! Like Alex said, excessive parking space -- whether large parking lots or driveways that set the house far from the street -- reduce walkability; on-street parking can also support walkability by providing a barrier between sidewalks and the street. However, one-car driveways and street parking on narrow streets can create challenges for residents. Keeping in mind these different pros and cons, what do you all think of rear-entry parking as a compromise? Here is a short article that shows some examples and discusses design considerations of rear-entry parking: https://www.housingdesignmatters.com/alley-loaded-communities/ Let me know what you think!
