More Entertainment/Recreation Options for Teens

One of the things I would like to see would be additional healthy activities for middle schoolers and high schoolers to participate in during non-school hours. I know it is a pipe dream, but the idea of a community center could offer so many options for the families and kids of Noble. A space were we could provide more activities for kids, health based classes for all ages, parenting classes/counseling, possibly a community pool. Again, I realize this is a stretch dream, but many of these services have to be accessed in Norman and transportation is an issue. Something similar to the The Well or YMCA in Norman.

Erika, Because this is a long-range plan, big ideas like this are more than welcome! A community center may not be possible in the next 5 or 10 years but may be in the next 20. At the very least, it could be possible to organize some of the programming you mentioned in existing parks and buildings. Thank you for sharing! Keep the ideas coming!
