This is a great suggestion, Kendra. Thank you for posting this. One step the City has taken to address this has been rezoning land along our Main Street corridor for commercial land use to allow businesses to move into Noble. But yes- I agree that Noble does need more places to go to in town.

I would like to see more businesses. Something to give our kids activities or date nights for adults. Or even somewhere to workout I'd like to spend money in my community and not drive to norman or okc. The empty lot on the main street that has a food truck sometimes. Why not once a month have food truck Friday and have more than 1 truck? The buildings on the main strip some have siding off and should be repaired.

I love the idea of a once a month food truck event on the corner of main and Etowah. I used to live in a city in California and they had a once a month community night. There was all kinds of family fun in the park with food, booths where businesses promoted themselves, people selling crafts and games for the kids. For a newbie in a big city, it really allowed me to meet my neighbors and know what local businesses I could utilize. Plus my son had a blast at all the kid tables. Sometimes it even showcased local music.
I also think getting all of main street thriving again would be cool. Some buildings have been empty for a long time and the lack of business means the lack of tax revenue that our city could use for projects.

I agree. It would be nice to eat in Noble after church service instead of going to Norman. We have limited activities for our residents to do in town. Consider a skate or dog park please.

I totally agree with this. I am constantly going to other towns to do my business, I would love to be able to stay here in Noble. For example going out with my boyfriend, going shopping, just walking around town.
